Il Mondiale si avvicina e si cominciano a svelare i nuovi modelli…
La prima a farlo è Mugen, la quale ha appena presentato ufficialmente l’erede della validissima e vittoriosa piattaforma mbx6, arrivata ormai alla sua quarta versione… o era la quinta? Ormai ho perso il conto[8D]!
Stiamo parlando della nuova
MBX7 A prima vista sembra la “solita mugen”, ma analizzando meglio le immagini ci si accorge che sono stati fatti sostanziali interventi pressochè dovunque, al fine (a detta di Mugen) di migliorare trazione, velocità di percorrenza curva, comportamento su buche e dossi, alleggerire la trasmissione, abbassare il centro di gravità, mantenendo l’affidabilità e l’efficacia della piattaforma buggy.
Le principali novità sono:
bracci sospensioni più corti con punto d’attacco più distante rispetto al centro del telaio (piastrine più lunghe);
serbatoio modificato con sistema a pendolo;
piastra radio modificata, con posizionamento batteria sdraiato;
nuovi ammortizzatori;
nuove coppie coniche;
nuove torri ammortizzatori e nuovi punti di ancoraggio;
nuovo box radio.…disponibile da fine anno!

E2001 – MBX7 1/8 Nitro Off Road BuggyMugen Seiki is proud to announce the release of the MBX7 1/8 Nitro Off Road Buggy. The Mugen design team had a goal to increase corner speed, increase traction, low the center of gravity and to lighten up the whole drive train but still keep the high quality that separates Mugen from the competitors and the end result is the MBX7.
Mugen concentrated on creating a buggy that would carry natural corner speed with newly designed front upper/lower suspension, The rear suspension was designed to create more traction and smooth action through bumps, jumps and whatever else the buggy attacks with shorter rear suspension arms, fully adjustable anti-squat and toe in bushings. New front shocks and shock springs control the suspension on the front of the buggy while newly designed shocks angles keep the rear suspension hooked up to the surface.
The drive train was lighted up with the front/rear conical gears and spur gear being milled out to reduce rotating weight. Straight cut bevel and conical gears make the overall drive much smoother with less drag. A specialized brake cam, brake disc and linkage will stop the buggy from the high speeds it will be obtaining. Mugen created a fuel tank with a special fuel intake clunk for maximum fuel pick up from a full tank to an empty tank, nice fuel line holders attached to the tank. The features keep going on….
The MBX7 will be available December 2012…so if you want to experience the Mugen legend then get your hands on the MBX7!!!
